 | | Weekends are for pigging outMonday, May 2, 2011 @ 3:11 PM PERMALINK
Its finally the weekend! and this weekend, we did Dimsum at 126 (named because its name sounds like 126, its actual name alludes me though. I just googled its called Wen Dao Shi 搵到食). ANYWAYS, we drove around for an hour trying to look for lot while I unhelpfully supplied gems like "Don't you wish we could park on the top of lorries?" We did however hit the side of a lorry.

| | | Hair up and ready to attack the food! |
We were originally going to order more food. But Abby stepped in to remind us that there were only three of us and we always end up with heaps more food than we can eat. (She also probably did that because she was paying) Unfortunately, I was too hungry to take a picture of the food that we piled on the table. We met the same waitress that warned us last time not to order so much food (sound advice though)| | | Order sheet |

After 126, we wanted ice-cream (jesus, this eating thing is so out of hand) and drove to Ice-cream Chefs only to find out we were too late and had to go to udders instead. There we talked about politics (hello GE) peppered with senseless gossip. (oh how I love being a girl)

This weekend, we took the foodfest to a whole new level and did brunch the next day at Garden Slug.
I absolutely love the location of Garden Slug, the fact that its so near a vet and grooming shop means there are a ton of cute dogs for me to oogle at.

It was a good day to snag an outdoor seat and eat to our hearts content and boy, did we eat.

After Garden Slug, we headed in different directions.  I was run errand girl with Abby. We drove to her office to get something she'd left behind before popping by the Marriott. I was told to hide so I sat quietly at the lift lobby. Once work was done, we went a little crazy at the Flock to Shop Flea at Scape.| | | Sharing platter of calamari rings, fried tofu &zucchini, fried mushrooms, bratwursts and wings. | | |

| | | Loot! Rings, stationary and lovely tops. |
| | | The cutest bunny ring EVER! 3 for $10. |
| | | The lovely beaded ring was made by this girl who had really good wire jewelry. I got this for $3 but she has a ton more intricate designs. I just googled her name card and turns out The Rose Collection is a collective of jewelery makers. This ring is probably from Heart though. |
| | | Also got this for 3 for $10. Elephant knuckle dusters. YAY |
Today is May Day and I fully intend to take it slow, read a couple of articles about writing freelance and listening to podcasts of people who advocate never getting a job. I also re-discovered a couple of websites of EFT and maybe I'll try that soon.| | | And the world's cutest post-its! |
