Yesterday I got some news that I'm hoping will not come true.
So I've decided to thinking positive thoughts until the outcome I need/want comes into fruition.
Imma think about the most delightful couple I met yesterday at work.

Now I work with the delivery company that services a large popular worldwide chain furniture and lifestyle store. Needless to say there are a ton of people buying things and not as many trucks to make deliveries as people would like. (not even going to go into the logistics of this, seriously)

People always say that its our company's duty to do what they expect but every company is limited by human and economical restrictions, I wish people would just chill out and see that.

Anyways, I meet all kinds of people and I get shouted at for alot of things that are not my fault at all.
Anyways, I digress. Yesterday I was at work and I kept getting into alot of sticky situations with customers (luck of the draw really) but then this couple came to my counter.

I think the girl was French and the guy was British but they were really excited about everything and they were sweet and patient. And each time I said "Hold on, I'll just check on that for you." They said thank you graciously instead of pulling a sour face like many of the customers i serve.

They also asked if I could please please please get them the earliest slot possible cause as the girl told me "they just got their place yesterday and there's nothing in it". and sure enough, as their luck would have it, we had one slot open for the next day exactly where they lived!

And they were excited as hell! The guy went on about how I did a top job and that they were having a really bad day, everything was going wrong and I just made it all better. Thats what really got me.

The both of them were having a horrendous day but still kept it together to be more polite than needed to the people around them and to be lovely to everyone else they talked to. And i feel that the universe rewarded them.

So imma remember this, be nice to people and the universe and hope it swings in my favour!
