| Back from Taiwan

Taiwan was great, I could have spent another week there (at least) but upon touching down and returning to life as a graduate with no full-time job, I've realised that I've been so blessed with the people in my life.
I was so happy to see Bong and Ben at the airport. Usually, I come and go and no one bothers to pick me up cause I'm only gone for 4-5 days at a time. But for Ben to volunteer to drive Bong to come get me was really nice. Plus! he was armed with gifts from USA. New sneakers from H&M (from him and Su which i really really love) and a caramel apple
Plus now someone else could carry my 11kg bag after I lugged it to Songshan train station, through Taipei Main Station and some like..1km to Taipei West Bus Station. (it probably wasnt 1km actually but it sure felt like it!)
My mum jumped straight on washing and sorting out my dirty clothes and new purchases (not much really) and by now (48 hrs later) they are all freshly laundered and hung neatly in my room
I also am so grateful that no one around me has held me back from travelling. It must not be easy to have a daugher/girlfriend whose idea of fun is boosting the economy of another country and going to places she doesnt know. Yet both my mum and bong are hella supportive of the time I spend away from home.
I am also always thankful for the people I meet on every trip. Even though chances are I will never see them again, it never changes the fact that for those limited number of hours/days, they liked me enough and were kind enough to be nice to me for no reason at all and that its only right that I do the same back to them.
Well, nothing like 8 days away from home to put things in perspective.
Update soon!
