Trella's last show
Monday, May 30, 2011 @ 2:32 AM PERMALINK

Last weekend was Trella's last show because Leon is going away to Melbourne to study and the rest of them will be following suit after army. Australia is snatching away all these people I know and its not fair at all.

The show was amazing and all the boys looked like they were really enjoying themselves.
For them, Homeclub is kind of like well (overused pun) home. Its kind of a pity that Trella is over, even though its been a hard thing to deal with because Bong is so dedicated to it. The band really means so much to those boys.

We didnt do much dancing and we ending up sitting by the river taking care of one Trella boy that fell into sweet beer induced sleep. And met two very drunk boys. An Australian named Steve and a Brit named Sake, who talked about schooling in Amsterdam, how easy it was to get work in Singapore, Masters and PHds, traveling, hipsters in their prime.

We left at 330am and dragged ourselves into a taxi, went home and slept til 130pm, even though I was supposed to get up at 11am.

I ran around City Hall the whole day on Saturday for a staff outing. That turned out to be kinda sad. I ate rosti with ham at this German place (which was super super good) and sat around in one of those expensive Kbox rooms surrounded by alcohol, which I did not have at all. Except half a glass of Whisky Green tea which I chased with Honey Lemon.

Everywhere I went yesterday was on sale.  Normally I ignore all the Great Singapore Sale signs but HMV was having a sale on their books and that made them so ridiculously cheap. I got The Bookseller of Kabul and The Wasp Factory. I'm done with the Bookseller already. It was nothing like I expected, but it still was good.

I also bought a lipstick, I don't know why cause I really don't use lipstick and two necklaces. One of those necklaces mentioned Vietnam and I had to have it (ode to my holiday plans in july!)

It feels good to not have to worry about submitting that final report anymore. Tomorrow is my last presentation of the course of my degree and I'm so excited it's over.

At least I hope it is, there is still a chance I may fail any one or both of the modules I just did, even though I really hope I dont!
